A well-known Pani Puri cart near Kolhapur’s Rankala Lake, ‘Mumbai ke Special Pani Puri Wala’ recently faced alot of criticism and disdain from locals. In a viral video, the street vendor was caught filling a can with toilet water. And then the vendor mixed the toilet water in his pani puri. When social media users circulated this video and came to know about this, all hell broke loose. This is one of the most famous Pani Puri carts in Kolhapur, which usually witnesses huge crowds of people. So locals were disappointed and angry.

Angry Locals Destroy His Cart On Realising This
In a fit of furiousness, people gathered in large numbers and destroyed this pani puri vendor’s cart. People threw his pani puris on the road and totally dismembered his thela. This is not the first time, a pani puri vendor in Maharashtra was caught doing something like this. Earlier,a pani puri vendor was caught on camera, urinating in the pani puri vessel. The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) in turn attacked over 300 pani puri stalls.

This was to protest against that one seller who put his customers’ health at risk. Well, we hope more street vendors in India take note of this, and improve their hygiene conditions for the safety and well being of their customers.
