Thrissur Pooram is an iconic celebration in Kerala. Like every year, Keralities celebrate the festival with pomp and glory. Thousands of people visited the Vadakkunnathan Temple on Sunday to witness the magnificence of it. From caparisoned elephants to massive decor all around, Thrissur Pooram is always a spectacular experience. Visited by people from different religions, this festival is a day of enjoyment and grandeur. Along with all this magnificence, there was something that caught everyone’s attention at the Thrissur Pooram. The show-stealer of the festival was none other than Lionel Messi.

Cutouts Of Lionel Messi Was A Major Attraction Of Thrissur Pooram

A Twitter user named SHABEER who goes by the username @e_shabeer, shared a video of this gala festival and the celebrations are looking extraordinary. The most eye-catching moment of the celebration on Sunday was the humongous cutout of the footballer with the FIFA World Cup trophy.

As recorded in the video, hundreds and thousands of fans gathered in front of the huge parasol of these cutouts of Lionel Messi and shouted their heart out. While celebrating Kudamattam in the evening, Thiruvambady began presenting the mindblowing and well-lit parasol of Messi’s cutouts, according to a report by Sportstar.

2022 turned out to be the best year for Messi fans as the GOAT led the Argentine football team to clinch the much-awaited World Cup. The cutout represented here in Thrissur Pooram is from that iconic night itself. Football fans present at the Thrissur Pooram last evening surely enjoyed a fascinating experience!
