A litti chokha seller from Mumbai, Yogesh, who reportedly sells the ‘best litti chokha in town’ at highly affordable rates, has garnered the attention of the netizens after a man shared a post on him. Priyanshu Dwivedi with the Twitter handle @khaalipeeli shared pictures of Yogesh and his litti chokha. He has mentioned that Yogesh is going through financial difficulties. Priyanshu also tagged Zomato India in the post and Zomato has also responded to it. Yogesh has his shop near Versova Beach. Read on to know more.

Yogesh Sells Litti Chokha At ₹20 Per Plate

Priyanshu stated in his post, “This guy is Yogesh. He is selling best Litti-Chokha in the town (Near Versova beach, Mumbai) and Just for 20 rupees per plate (Which includes, 2 littis dipped into butter, delicious chokha, chatni and salad).” Priyanshu said, “He is trying to sell his delicious litti on @zomatoin but he is not able to list his shop just because he doesn’t know much about the process, also whom to contact for. He told me that right now he is facing financial issues and facing a tough time.” Yogesh told Priyanshu, “Mahine ka kiraya nahi nikal paa raha hai bhaiya, oopar se yaha sabhi ko paise dene padte”,

Priyanshu added, “He is planning to shut his shop. I request @zomato and @deepigoyal to help him out with their platform. I guarantee itni badhiya litti kahi nahin milegi…”.Speaking about the location of Yogesh’s shop, Priyanshu said, “His shop is opposite to signal near the graveyard in Versova. Zomato To Assist Yogesh With The Listing Procedure

Zomato Care responded to Priyanshu ‘s Tweet, stating, “Hi Priyanshu, sorry for the delay in response. If possible, please help us with his contact number over a private message and our team will be reaching out to him at the earliest to assist him with the listing procedure.” Many other Twitter users came forward to offer help. One user wrote, “Give his exact location. Will try him out tomorrow. What are his timings. Also will see what can be done for him.” Another user commented, “Possible to start crowdfunding/collecting some money to help him out?” Another wrote, “I hope his shop is listed soon! Would love to order litti and chokha, which is soul food for a Bihari like me.” An user also praised the litti chokha, stating, “I have tasted it myself nice smoky flavours and authentic taste..loved it.”

Thanking the netizens and Zomato for their support, Priyanshu added that he would provide Yogesh’s UPI number if anyone is interested to provide assistance. Priyanshu wrote, “Thank you everyone for this amazing support. @zomatoin is assisting him in listing his shop. Also please let me know if anyone wants to help this guy to set up his shop properly, I can provide his UPI number.
