A family bakery that began with a single shop in Uzbekistan has officially launched in Dubai, bringing a menu it says is built on recipes that never change. Cake Lab opened in Tashkent in 2012 and now runs 18 branches and employs more than 600 people across Uzbekistan. Its Dubai arm started with a soft launch on delivery apps. Every order is now baked at the company’s own production kitchen in Al Quoz, which has been operating since June 2026.

The founders say the business has followed one principle from the start: make only what you would proudly serve your own children. After 14 years and more than 300 recipes, the company says that rule means real butter, recipes that stay the same as they grow, and portions that do not shrink.

A Mixed Kitchen Team

In Dubai, pastry chefs from Uzbekistan, who look after the original recipes and quality standards, work alongside experienced local chefs.

What Dubai Is Ordering

Éclairs have been the best seller since the soft launch, led by pecan and chocolate versions made with choux pastry baked daily. Other popular items include:

  • Honey cake: thin honey layers with custard cream, made to the recipe used in the brand’s early Tashkent days
  • Cherry cake: chocolate sponge, ganache, cherry-lime coulis and chocolate mousse
  • Coffee cake: a coffee-bean-shaped dessert with chocolate-almond shortcrust, coffee cream and mousse under a velvety coating
  • Macarons: almond shells in pistachio and strawberry, mint and lime, and chocolate and salted caramel
  • Tarts and minis: lemon, raspberry and mango, plus bite-sized tartlets for sharing

How To Order

Cake Lab delivers across Dubai through Deliveroo, Careem, noon and Keeta, or directly on WhatsApp at +971 58 258 3388. It also supplies cafés, restaurants, hotels and offices with cakes, pastries and bakery products. A Dubai store is planned, though no date has been given.

The founding family said Dubai suits the brand because people from around the world gather at its tables, and that they have brought their chefs, recipes and standards from Tashkent. Details above come from the company’s own announcement.
