Neena Gupta shared a reel of her preparing Mixed Vegetable Ulte Tawe Ki Roti with her house help. Her healthy dinner idea serves quite an inspiration for foodies looking for something nutritious yet delicious on a busy weekday night. The reel begins with the actress saying that today, they were preparing inverted griddle-cooked roti with paneer and veggies. First, Neena Gupta shows a steel plate filled with finely chopped veggies like onion, capsicum, coriander, carrot and green chillies. The plate also has grated paneer.

Next, she mixes the chopped veggies and paneer to prepare a delicious filling. Neena Gupta adds in her video that the rotis were so filling that just two rotis can satiate one person. After mixing the vegetables with salt, the actress places them on top of the flat dough. Then, she closes the pouch-shaped dough and turns it into a ball. Using a rolling pin, she flattens the dough filled with veggies.

Her house help, wets on the side of the roti with a little water. And then she places it atop the hot tawa. Bear in mind that no oil or ghee is used on the roti. With the roti firmly stuck on the tawa, she flips the griddle on top of the gas to roast one side of it. So, that’s the magic of Ulte Tawe Ki Roti. Instead of flipping the roti to cook it, the tawa itself is flipped over the gas. Neena Gupta adds that this roti can be paired with chutney or pickle. Later, she finishes the roti with a generous smearing of homemade ghee.
