The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has introduced a new mobile app, Rajmargyatra, to provide highway users with a smooth, user-friendly experience, promoting safer and more pleasurable travel, the Ministry of road transport and Highways (MoRTH) stated on Thursday, according to an article published by news18.com

This is a citizen-focused, unified mobile app called Rajmargyatra that is accessible on both the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store.

Due to its built-in complaint resolution and escalation process, the app also provides hassle-free issue redressal. Users can simply report problems with the highway, adding geo-tagged videos or pictures for more detail. The system will automatically escalate any delays in the resolution of the reported complaints to higher authorities.

Users can keep track of the progress of their complaints for total openness. Rajmargyatra also links its services with a number of bank portals, making it simple for customers to reload their FASTags, purchase monthly passes, and use other FASTag-related financial services – all from a single platform. To promote responsible and safe driving practices, the app also includes voice assistance and over-speeding notifications.

Currently, the app is only available in English and Hindi.

Users of the national highway system can find all the information they need at Rajmargyatra. Get up-to-date weather information, timely broadcast alerts and information on nearby toll booths, petrol stations, hospitals, motels and other necessary facilities to ensure a smooth and secure trip on national highways.
