Artificial Intelligence is a huge game-changer now, and it is bringing phenomenal advancements in various sectors. Ola too is counting on the technology. It has chosen Swedish-Swiss multinational ABB as one of its partners for robotics and automation solutions at its facility in Tamil Nadu. Ola’s Tamil Nadu facility is a 2,400 crores mega factory which will launch the Ola electric scooters. The venture will digitally integrate the robots into the AI-enabled factory and will deploy them largely for battery and motor assembly lines. Read on to know more.

Ola To Deploy ABB Rebots At Its Tamil Nadu Mega Factory

Ola will use ABB automation solutions and ABB robots for the manufacturing of Ola electric scooters at its Tamil Nadu mega factory. According to autocarpro.in, chairman and group CEO of Ola, Bhavish Aggarwal, has said,  “We are delighted to bring on board ABB, a global leader in robotics, machine automation and digital services, as a key supplier and partner for robotics and automation solutions that will be deployed at our scooter mega-factory. ABB’s solutions will be riding on Ola’s own proprietary AI engine and tech stack embedded in our scooter mega-factory. We are bringing in global expertise and stitching up partnerships that will help us build out our factory in record speed and roll out the first of our electric scooters in the coming months”. Also, Garvit eBike electric scooters were introduced in Delhi.

The Electric Scooters Will Have World-Class Quality

Ola had also announced that its Tamil Nadu mega factory will create around 10,000 jobs and that it will the world’s largest scooter manufacturing facility.
