Looking at this, IKEA in Dubai came up with a unique initiative named, ‘Buy With Your Time’. Under this initiative, customers can purchase items using currency based on how long it takes them to travel to the store.

Currency Based On Google Maps Timeline
After purchasing your desired items, you will have to show the cashier Google Maps Timeline at the checkout. Your time spent on the road to travel will be converted into money by him. The average income level in the United Arab Emirates will be used to determine the rate of conversion. The tags on the items have prices in terms of time and money.
