Newly turned mom Priyanka Chopra was relishing a healthy desi meal and the dish was making her miss Mumbai. Can you guess which dish she was having? It was the light, humble and delicious poha. Priyanka took to her Instagram story to share the picture of poha made with Indian spices and wrote, “Poha in LA that took me back to Mumbai.” She is residing in Los Angeles now with her husband Nick Jonas and their baby. Her restaurant SONA also serves a wide array of desi food.

Priyanka Chopra Thanks Chef Who Has Shared Poha Video

In the caption of the picture, Priyanka thanked chefs Pratik Bhakta and Sami Udell by tagging their Instagram handles ‘hungryempire’ and ‘wholesam’. Also, Pratik Bhakta has shared a recipe video of Mumbai-style poha bataka on his Instagram handle. To make the poha, Pratik used mustard seeds, curry leaves, cumin seeds, peanuts, sweet onions, turmeric, ginger, Thai chili, peas, potato, asafoetida and other Indian ingredients.
