Nitin Gadkari, the Minister of Road Transport and Highways of India, will inaugurate the road on 11 July. The work for building this infrastructure started back in 2018 and it was meant to be finished within 25 months. But the process lengthened due to the Covid-19 waves, problems with shifting, and Delhi’s winter pollution. Finally, commuters will soon use this elevated road to travel and cut time. The people living near are very happy with this project as they are hoping this infrastructure will help to sort out the traffic issues they face at these junctions.
