Step 1: Fill Out The Emirates ID Form

You must obtain your Emirates ID application typed as your initial duty. You may either do this online at icp.gov.ae, the website of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP), or you can go to any authorised typing centre in the UAE and have a public relations officer (PRO) or representative finish the procedure on your behalf. If you choose the second option, you will incur extra service fees for the typing centre.

Step 2: Take The Fitness Test For health

After applying for an Emirates ID, you must pass a medical fitness examination. For all UAE citizens under 18, you must complete a medical fitness exam before you may renew your visas. In order to assure that UAE citizens are free of any communicable illnesses, including HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) and TB, according to u.ae, a medical fitness test is carried out (Tuberculosis).

You must visit a government-run medical fitness centre to take the medical exam.

Step 3: Obtain A New Residence Permit

The Emirates ID cards have taken the role of resident visa stickers as the main form of verification of residency in the UAE, according to a May 16 statement by ICP.

You may continue to apply for your resident visa renewal after you have received your medical fitness certificate through courier.

The permit may be renewed online or at a recognised typing facility. The registered courier service will pick up your passport from your supplied address if you complete the procedure online. If the procedure is finished at the immigration centre, you may turn in your passport at the centre’s kiosk for the courier service.
