Sara Ali Khan, who has been busy gaining appreciation for her latest release alongside Vicky Kaushal, has finally taken some time off. The actress was paired with Vicky Kaushal in their latest release, “Zara Hatke, Zara Bachke”. Utilising her time off in the best way possible, the actress headed straight to the Khajrana Ganesh Temple in Indore and then went to the revered Mahakal temple in Ujjain.

Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan visited the famous Khajrana Ganesh Temple. The temple is located in Indore and was built by Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar of the Holkar Dynasty. It is believed that the idol at the temple was put into a well to save it from Aurangazeb. It was brought out in 1735, and the temple was built. 

The actress shared a picture from this visit on Instagram with her fans. She wrote “Soumya returns to Indore” which is the name of the character she played in “Zara Hatke, Zara Bachke”. The actress had visited the temple to thank God for the success and appreciation the film has been garnering since its release.

Delayed Flight? Poha To The Rescue

Sara Ali Khan also visited the Mahakaleshwar and Kal Bhairav temple in Ujjain. 

The Kal Bhairav temple in Ujjain is situated close to the river Shipra and is known for its unique offering of alcohol to the deity. The actress shared a picture in which she is spotted in a simple pink saree holding a coconut in her hands. 

The actress next visited the revered Mahakaleshwar temple. It is one of the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines in India. Among all the 12 Jyotirlingas, only this temple’s idol’s face is towards the south. This is why it is one of the most famous temples in India.

She posted her pictures with the temple in the background. She mentioned that the place offers peace during the day while being mesmerising at night. 

In one of her stories, she also mentioned that her flight has been delayed and she is cutting time by eating poha, which is one of the most famous dishes in Indore.
