Located between Lachen and Lachung, Amitabh Bachchan Falls is in North Sikkim. Being a permit-protected area, you need a permit to visit North Sikkim. Visit Lachen first, and on your way from Lachen to Lachung, make a pit stop at these majestic waterfalls. You can sip some tea, eat Maggi and enjoy the view of this fall.

Best Time To Visit

You can visit Amitabh Bachchan Falls throughout the year; however, if you want to witness it in its true state, visit the falls between July-September, during Monsoons.

Thanks to the height it falls from, this three-step, cascading waterfall is one of the tallest in Sikkim, and lies in between Lachen and Lachung.
