Sonu Sood Launches Travel Platform For Rural Entrepreneurs That Will Give Access To Flights, Trains & Hotels

All superheroes do not need a cape and Bollywood actor Sonu Sood is a living example. After helping thousands of immigrants get back home during the deadly pandemic, Sonu Sood is now setting up a travel platform to help rural entrepreneurs. The actor announced the launch of a B2B tech platform Travel Union that will support small businesses and agents in the travel and tourism segment.

Sonu Sood Faced First-Hand Challenges In Rural India Travel

The platform will give trains, buses, hotels, and flights access to travellers from rural India. It has been launched in partnership with Dilip Kumar Modi’s firm Spice Money, a rural fintech firm. Sonu Sood had the first-hand experience of the challenges that rural Indians face in travelling. According to him, the rural travel sector has been pretty unorganised so far.

The Platform Will Give Access To Both Domestic & International Flights

The platform has also rolled out a brand campaign ‘Khulenge Naye Raaste’ where Sonu breaks down the whole process of using the app. The brand film will be promoted on digital and social media platforms. If 2020, were to be dedicated to one person in our country, it would undoubtedly be Bollywood actor and philanthropist, Sonu Sood. During the coronavirus-induced lockdown, Sood helped repatriate millions of stranded Indians both within and outside India. Students in Kyrgyzstan, migrants in India reached their homes amidst the pandemic last year, all thanks to his humanitarian efforts. SpiceJet has also honoured him by dedicating an aircraft livery for a Boeing 737. Sonu Sood is the first Indian actor to be featured in a livery of a domestic airline. The aircraft has a larger-than-life picture of Sonu Sood, along with the text “A salute to the saviour Sonu Sood.”
