A day after he tested negative, he launched a new platform ‘India Fights With COVID’ to help people find hospitals, oxygen suppliers and medicines for COVID patients. And now the actor has launched ‘SOOD Charity Foundation’ to offer free COVID help for doctor consultation and COVID testing. He has also shared the contact details for the same on his Instagram handle.

Sonu Sood recently took to Instagram to announce free COVID help via SOOD Charity foundation and he has also shared a toll-free number 1800-8913-441 for doctor consultation. For COVID testing, he has shared WhatsApp number 9833019090. Sood has captioned his post as, “You, take REST. Let me handle the TEST. When Sood had tested positive, he had posted, “As part of precautions, I have already quarantined myself and taking utmost care. But don’t worry this gives me ample time to solve your problems. Remember I’m always there for you all.” The second wave of COVID-19 is posing way more dangerous than the first one, and due to the alarming rise in virus cases, hospitals are running out of beds and oxygen supplies. In this hour of crisis, Sonu Sood’s COVID platform can come to the aid of thousands of people. The actor has been assisting migrant workers since the beginning of the pandemic.

The Actor Recently Airlifted A Critically Ill COVID Patient For Lung Transplant
Earlier, Sood had mortgaged 8 Juhu properties to raise ₹10 Crores for the needy. He had also installed mobile tower in a Haryana village for students. He had arranged a charter flight to evacuate Indian students stranded in Kyrgyzstan. Recently, Sood airlifted a critically ill COVID patient from Nagpur and transported her to Hyderabad in an air ambulance. He saved the life of 25-year-old Bharti, who had lost almost 85 to 90 percent of her lungs. Her lung transplant was possible only in Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad.
