What Is It?

The Dubai Spice Souk is located in Deira, adjacent to the Dubai Gold Souk & visitors can enjoy an Abra ride for just AED 1 from Bur Dubai to Al Baniyas Street at Al Ras which is the only cheapest transport you’ll find in the country. Brace yourself for a sensory overload with spices from all over the Arabian peninsula. Savor the atmosphere as you are introduced to the mounds of aromatic herbs and spices spilling from large baskets at every turn. But spices aren’t the only thing you’ll find here. Wander among different stalls & you’ll discover Arabian fruit teas, camel milk soap, frankincense, dried edible flowers & a lot of medicinal herbs.

Walk further down and you’ll be enamored by the wide range of artifacts and traditional handmade souvenirs, shisha, rugs, traditional clothing and perfume oils. Vendors are extremely chatty here but they will give you plenty of ideas on how you can use the various spices. Make sure to haggle your way to the best prices.
