The Cruise’s Itinerary Covers Six Continents
Viking Cruises announced its plan to launch the 2021-2022 Viking World Cruise package on July 22. The Viking Star ship will depart from Fort Lauderdale, Florida on December 24, 2021. The trip will cover 27 countries, with overnight stays in 11 major cities, including Mumbai, Istanbul, and Rome among others.
Traversing through six continents, the voyage will end in London, according to the itinerary revealed by the cruise line.

Taiwan Resumes Cruise With Covid-19 Safety Measures In Place
Several cruise operations across the globe came to a screeching halt with the coronavirus spreading rapidly. Seychelles, for instance, has already banned all cruises till 2021. However, Taiwan resumed its cruises from July 26 to give a boost to its tourism industry. The cruise ship, Explorer Dream, sailed to only domestic ports in Taiwan. Additionally, it ensured that all the safety measures were taken, like thermal screening, social distancing and maintenance of a separate Covid-19 quarter on-board.

Cruise Tourism In Odisha On The Cards
Back home in India, the state government of Odisha announced its plans to start day-cruise services. The cruise facility will be available at five gorgeous locations in the state.
