2020 had been one of the gloomiest years in decades. But for travel enthusiast Harshil Gupta, the year was a ‘turning point’ as he had become a paw-rent to some adorable kittens. He invested his energy in fostering and nurturing abandoned kittens and helping them find a permanent home. The cute and charming kittens had brightened up Harshil’s year. One of these little kitties named Peppy also became his travel companion and even enjoyed paragliding up in the air at 8000 feet in Billing. Read on to know the beautiful story.
Peppy Had A Paw-Some Experience In The Air
In a message to Curly Tales, Harshil has shared, “As 2020 has passed by, I can say it wasn’t just an ordinary year for me. 2020 was a turning point for me as I invested my energy in fostering abandoned kittens, nurturing them with lots of love and helping them find a permanent home. Happy and grateful to be able to provide homes to few of them while also adopting this handsome chap, Peppy, who continues to be my constant companion in all my travels.”

Harshil continued, “I could have sunk into the quicksands of uncertainty, doubt and fear but together we have leapt out of the fog and onto our upward path, eager to embrace the winding road and learn at every step. We have embarked on a journey together and no doubt it has been a nerve-racking one.” Harshil took the 11-month old Peppy on a paragliding experience at 8000 feet in the air in Billing. He has uploaded the paragliding video with Peppy and we’re going absolutely ‘aweee’ over it!

“I Clutched Onto Him And He Clutched Onto Me…”
Harshil spoke about how he and Peppy clutched on to each other while flying free above the mountains. He said, “Though I was confused if I should take him along for paragliding, but when I imagined myself up there, I felt a part of me would be missing. I was afraid of what if he gets out of my grip and falls in the valley. But I clutched onto him and he clutched onto me, trusting each other like how you hold your loved ones close whom you can’t afford to let go.” And there he was, enjoying paragliding at 8000 ft in Billing, world’s second-highest paragliding take-off point amidst picturesque views of the valley surrounded by Dhauladhar mountains.” Meanwhile, Peppy has also got an Instagram handle with the name justlittlepeppythings.

Harshil added, “It was surprising to see him all calm and composed throughout this adventure. Well, this was my and Peppy’s first paragliding experience and no doubt it was a breathtaking one. The gliders and locals were amazed as they shared that Peppy was the 1st cat ever to paraglide at such a height.” This is definitely one of the most heart-touching narratives to come across.
