With his outstanding performance, deep voice, recognisable punches, and powerful speech, he elevated Indian cinema to a whole new level. His fanbase is super crazy both in numbers and actions as they express their love and respect for the legendary actor. His fans in Kolkata took their love for him to another level by constructing an entire temple dedicated to him.

One of Kolkata‘s most loving fans  made the decision to construct a temple as a physical representation of his hero-worship. When you arrive at the temple, a sizable banner with the words “Jai Amitabh Bachchan” will welcome you. The temple in Kolkata has his status in the Sarkar look and people worship him with all the love as an incarnation of a deity. With an outstanding collage of images displayed throughout the temple, which has even kept his shoes from the Deewar filming locations. The temple is not for just namesake, there are various rituals followed here just like any other normal temple does. People have been seen bowing down  before the Hero-God at the temple entrance. This temple’s devoted pandits are likewise dressed in Sarkar garb.

The All Bengal Amitabh Bachchan Fan’s Association designed and implemented the temple’s interior decor and artwork. The temple is open 24/7 for all the Bachchan fans.
