A shameful incident from the streets of Mumbai was captured on camera and posted on Twitter, where it went viral. Two men were seen harassing a South Korean YouTuber while she was live streaming on the streets of Mumbai. Here is what exactly happened.
South Korean Youtuber Harassed By Mumbai Men
Hyojeong Park, a 24-year-old South Korean YouTuber, was exploring the city of dreams, Mumbai, in the evening at 8 pm. Over 1000 people were watching her live stream from the streets of Mumbai’s Khar neighborhood. Just then, two men walked in, and one of them tried to pull the YouTuber by her hand as she shouted “no” repeatedly.
The man was seen coming close to her and forcing her to sit on his bike even after she protested. As she walked away, the man, accompanied by another, followed her on a bike. The two offered her a lift while she tried to deny it in broken English, saying that she lived nearby. A Twitter user tweeted this video and requested strict action against the two men.

The Two Men Have Now Been Arrested
Hyojeong then retweeted the video and mentioned that some people called it her mistake for being so friendly. The Mumbai police contacted the YouTuber for further details via Twitter. They registered a case of sexual assault against the two based on the video that went viral on Twitter. They investigated the whole matter and finally arrested the two culprits in Mumbai.
Mumbai police tweeted about the arrest of the two men who were harassing the youtuber. Many people lauded the Mumbai police for their swift action on the case. Preeti Gandhi, a BJP leader and activist, too, praised the police for their quick investigation followed by the arrest. Mobeen Chand Mohammad Shaikh and Mohammad Naqeeb Ansari were the culprits, and now they are arrested.
Mumbai Police’s Khar Police station has taken a Suo Moto action in an incident that happened with a Korean woman (foreigner) in the jurisdiction of Khar West.
In this regard, both the accused have been arrested and booked under relevant sections of the IPC.
