Vidya has spent 31 years of her life in the lanes of Chembur. She was born and raised there. Surprisingly, it is a talent hub for Bollywood as stars like Anil Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, Malaika Arora and, of course, Vidya Balan herself were residents of Chembur.

Upon asking about her childhood memories from Chembur, she goes on to talk about her schooling. Turns out, Shilpa Shetty was a couple of years senior to Vidya. Guess who taught Vidya Balan how to dribble a basketball? Yes, it was Shilpa! Vidya talks about Shilpa in awe and tells us that she was always the hot one.
