Ever watched the 2006 film ‘Snakes on a Plane’, and felt utterly horrified? Well, passengers on the Air India Express Calicut-Dubai flight actually lived their worst nightmare on 10th December. A snake was discovered to have sneakily flown all the way from Calicut to Dubai in the cargo hold of the plane, obviously without a ticket. On landing, passengers were instantly deplaned. Here’s all about it.

Snake Found On Cargo Hold Of Air India Express Calicut-Dubai Flight

According to a report by India TV News, Air India Express flight B 737-800 from Calicut to Dubai found a snake in the cargo hold on landing at Dubai airport. A senior official at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) confirmed the news about the discovery of the snake in the cargo hold. Apparently, fire services were immediately called and passengers were immediately deplaned on arrival.

Passengers Deplaned On Landing

DGCA will further investigate the incident and understand more about handling the said lapse and issues from the ground staff. Further investigation will take place about the said incident. After all, having a snake in the plane is dangerous for passengers and it could have created utter commotion mid-air.
