Why You Should Choose Gokarna Over Goa For Your Next Holiday

Well, as we know, Goa is the most preferred, millennial vacation destination. But it is high time that we accept that Goa is also the most overrated, crowded and overhyped destination. Like me, are you too looking for a peaceful destination which is less crowded, filled with serene beaches and beautiful waterfalls and places with historic importance? Gokarna is one such place! I would even go overboard and say – Gokarna is the new Goa! In Gokarna, you can also enjoy a session of yoga under a treehouse.

Gokarna is a town in Karnataka which has super clean beaches with crystal clear water. People come to Gokarna in search of a peaceful vacation, away from the chaotic life and closer to nature. And one of the reasons Gokarna is pulling the attention of people is the commercialization that changed the face of Goa! It was once a beautiful destination, right now it is just any other vacation destination on the map.

Here’s Why Gokarna Is Better Than Goa

For starters, Gokarna is super affordable and even then you won’t find a lot of crowd at the tourist spots. The most important part for me on a vacation is – less human interaction and more interaction with nature! But if you have ever been to Goa, you would notice it is nothing different than Dadar station at crowded hours. Nobody wants that.
