We had a memorable celebration for his 50th birthday with his favourite vada pav, birthday cake and scrumptious food at Fresh Catch in Bandra West with our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani. Sachin Tendulkar Emphasised On How Every Sport Needs A Hero
Kamiya pointed out that India is a cricket-loving nation and other sports get neglected. But Sachin had a different opinion and shared that this scenario is rapidly changing with time. He said that it is extremely crucial to find a hero for a particular sport and nowadays there are many Indian sportsmen heroes.
He even highlighted that this was due to the change in facilities like infrastructure and awareness. It comes down to the basic needs that help develop an interest in the game and build better players. He said, “It’s all about staying a step ahead of your opposition.” Along with maintaining a good diet, fitness and one’s mental state also helps to be a better sportsperson.

We are aware Sachin is everyone’s hero whether it is on or off the cricket ground. Isn’t it great when one hero mentions how other heroes are important to take a game forward?
Celebrations With Cake Cutting!
To celebrate our hero, Sachin Tendulkar, we had to order the most delectable cake from Love & Cheesecake. Any guesses about which flavour we went with? It’s the summer season which means…Mango! Sachin and Kamiya were so excited to see their favourite cheesecake!
He was kind enough to let Kamiya celebrate the Sunday Brunch century by cutting the cheesecake; although we got it for him! Kamiya giggled and mentioned that it is better to enjoy any celebrations with your folks. So everyone from our team and Sachin’s team came forward. We had such a memorable century with the master of centuries that it will forever etched in our memories!
