Life for the vegetarian foodie is tough. While you enjoy eating much more than anything else, your carnivore friends always have a wider ranger of options. You on the other hand are stuck up with paneer and potato, or so people think. While this is arbitrarily true, it’s not the whole story. Paneer is a love affair all by itself and when you utter these two magic words ‘paneer’ and ‘tikka’ together, you bring to life some of the best food memories of both the vegetarians and the non-vegetarians. We’ve picked 5 of the best Paneer Tikka spots in town as a mode of reverence to this gorgeous dish of food.
1. Ayub’s, Kala Ghoda
This place is known for the some of the best rolls in town. Especially their Paneer Achari roll which we recommend you savor with a one liter bottle of water besides you. Ayub’s has perfected the art of the tandoor and serves finger-licking Aloo Tikka. But what a lot of folks don’t know is this: they serve smacking Paneer Tikka with a side of onions and green chutney. The paneer is soft and crumbly and the char of the tandoor adds a layer of flavor to the hand mixed spices.

The marinade is lighter and tends to be a bit on the sweeter end but then there’s the heat of black pepper which cuts through it.
