An Instagram user named Passport Guy recently posted a video on his handle, and that went viral. The video featured a British-Indian passport from the year 1927. The video went viral within a short period of time after it was posted. The user is a passport collector and loves collecting different passports.

The passport belongs to Dr Balabhai Nanavati of Bombay (now Mumbai). It has the British monarch’s monogram on it and is a royal blue colour. The pages of the passport show that it was used until 1932. It is a little worn out and has Nanavati’s photo, signature, and travel information.

Dr Nanavati is a famous doctor from India and has several hospitals named after him in Mumbai. The caption of the video posted on Instagram read that this British colonial Indian passport was issued to a famous doctor from Bombay, India, who in his late 20s travelled to Europe. The video, page by page, also showed the various countries’ names that were visited by him.
