According to a 2019 report by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, Government of India roughly 7 million senior citizens travelled in India for various purposes such as pilgrimage, leisure, health, business, etc. And, we are sure by 2023 the number would have increased, thanks to the post-pandemic fuelled travel and many senior-citizen friendly vacay options.

While India doesn’t truly have a concept of empty-nesters like the West, kids are still pretty much part of their lives even at their ripe ages.
