Earlier, passenger traffic at the airport was unmanageable due to a longer waiting time. However, with enough display boards and ushers to lead the passengers to their designated flight gates, the situation has become better. In addition to this, the display board now shows real-time updates. This has caused waiting of no more than six minutes minimum instead of an hour. Also, they have used social media platforms to update travellers about any changes that can occur. Moreover, these display boards are everywhere in the airport, right from CISF post to check-in areas.
