5 Hacks To Make Perfectly Soft And Round Chapatis At Home

In Indian households, roti is one of the most important things that cannot be avoided. Yes, in fact, our culinary skills are examined on the basis of how soft and round our chapatis are. Well, making a soft chapati also called phulka, is not at all an easy task. Consistent practice is the biggest only key to making soft and round rotis. But, don’t worry we are going to tell you five hacks that can help you in making round fluffy rotis.

1. Soften Your Dough

2. Let The Dough Rest For A While

Just after you’ve kneaded the dough cover it with a bowl or muslin cloth. Let the dough rest for 20-30 minutes. Covering it will prevent it from losing its softness. The dough gets into the right texture after it is left for a while.

3. Making Right Size Chapati Balls

When you start making chapatis, make sure that the dough balls are in the right size. Because the right size dough balls will only help you in getting perfectly round-rolled chapatis.

5. Heat Consistency

After rolling your chapati, make sure to put them on a preheated pan. Don’t change the gas speed when you’re baking the chapati. The changing gas speed will make them crispy and hard. So, to keep your chapatis fluffy and soft don’t disturb the gas speed.
