Diveagar is 168 km away from Mumbai, approximately a 4 and half hour drive from Mumbai. A drive is much easier than taking a train. From Mumbai and Pune if you take a train the closest station to Diveagar is Mangoan and with the help of local transport, you can reach the village.

Stay
Diveagar has homestay, cottages and hotels and all of these between 1500-2000 rupees per room.
It is cheaper if you live in a homestay. You will not find any high-end hotels here. I lived in a hotel and it had basic amenities and was less than a kilometer away from the beach!

Food
Diveagar has cheap food options and also has homemade food availability. The hotel that I stayed
in was owned by a lady who was a brilliant cook. She made us a heavy breakfast of ghavan and pohe. And for dinner we had the amazing prawn thali.
