If you’re an art geek, you know that there are many debates around Vincent Van Gogh, the Dutch impressionist painter. From the correct pronunciation of his name and his sexuality to his death and its reasons, experts have debated almost every aspect of his life. However, there are no debates about the fact that he is an era-defining painter. And now, you can not only view but actually immerse yourself in his artworks! Here are 5 things that you should know about the new Van Gogh exhibition in Mumbai.

1. Van Gogh 360°™: An Immersive Experience

The exhibition is called Van Gogh 360°™ and aims to bring to life the works of Van Gogh. It is an immersive experience where Van Gogh’s art will be projected in the most creative ways possible. You can enjoy them in any way you like and are comfortable in, either by lying or sitting on the ground.

2. Location And Timings

The exhibition will take place at the World Trade Centre located in the Cuffe Parade area of Mumbai. The exhibition will be open all days of the week although the prices of the passes may differ. The timings of the exhibition are 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The exhibition began on the 20th of January and will end on the 3rd of March.

3. Ticket Prices

The prices of the tickets differ depending on the day of your visit. For weekdays, the prices are ₹999 per head. On the weekend, the prices increase to ₹1,299 per head. There are different passes for when you want to visit at your own convenience which will set you back ₹2,500 per head.

4. Artworks To Keep An Eye Out For

It will feature a number of Van Gogh’s famous as well as lesser-known works. Some of the artworks that you can expect at the exhibition are The Starry Night, Almond Blossom, Sower At Sunset, etc. It will also include his self-portraits.
