Under the direction of the District Tourism Promotion Council and with the assistance of the business sector, the bridge was built at the Vagamon Adventure Park. The Cantilever Skywalk was officially opened by Tourism Minister P.A. Mohammed Riyas on Wednesday at 5:00 pm.

The first glass bridge in Kerala is the Vagamon Glass Bridge. The entire glass structure is supported by 35 tonnes of steel and consists of five layers of German-imported 40 mm glass. Six metal cables connect the steel pillars on the mountain’s summit, which support the bridge. Under the Idukki DTPC, a private partnership was used to design and build the bridge. On August 25, 2023, it was officially opened to the public after being finished at a cost of ₹3 crores.

Each group will have a maximum time allotment of 5 to 10 minutes. Regardless of age, the cost is ₹500 for an individual. The limitations have been implemented in order to manage the surge.
