How Are The Best Workplaces Ranked?
Great Place To Work has launched a list of Best Workplaces in Asia for 2026. The ranking is based on confidential employee survey data. Over 3.8 million people took part in this survey, representing nearly 8.9 million employees across Asia. The 2026 list features 100 large companies from across Asia. Out of these, 34 companies are from India. The Small & Medium category also has 6 companies from India.
It’s good to see that while many people say working in India is toxic, there are some companies that are giving their employees a great work experience. The factors considered for the rankings were:

- Leadership
- Company Values
Overall, 93% of employees called their workplace great. Small and medium-sized companies performed better than large organisations, with a workplace experience score of 96% compared to 91%. Their Trust Index score also stood higher at 93% compared to 89%. At least 95% of employees shared positive feedback on employee safety, feeling welcomed and receiving fair treatment. The Social Services & Government Agencies sector also achieved a 97% workplace experience score.
