JettWings Airways, in partnership with the Serbian government, has launched the JettWings Serbia – Cadet Pilot Program. It is a training program meant to churn out highly skilled pilots and aviation personnel so that the future of Indian aviation can continue to soar.
The flight training program is designed so that pilots trained here will satisfy the criteria for a European license as well as the requirements for the DGCA. DGCA is the Directorate General for Civil Aviation and it is the watchdog for Civil Aviation in India.
Since India is one of the fastest-growing aviation industries in the world, it is currently facing a shortage of skilled pilots. The pilot training program hopes to aid in filling this lacuna. It hopes to train as many as 800 pilots over the next five years!
