It has been over a month since a brand-new bus stop was established on Cunningham Road in Bangalore. N Ravi Reddy is the Associate Vice-President of the company that is involved with the establishment and construction of the bus shelters of BMTC. He lodged a complaint about the bust stop incident. The India Today report stated that the date of filing the theft complaint was about a month following the stealing case on Cunningham Road in Bangalore. The police have registered a case on this theft complaint.

This is not the first time that something so unusual happened in the Karnataka capital. Previously, there have been many incidents when the bus stops and bus stands have vanished, and that too overnight. Back in the year 2014, a bus stop located at the BEML Layout III Stage in Rajarajeshwarinagar was missing.

Back in March 2023, a bus stand at Bangalore’s HRBR Layout simply vanished within a night. This was around a 30-year-old infrastructure and it provided services since 1990. The reason behind the decision was for some commercial purposes. There have been more such incidents a few times.
