BLADE India was offering private charters between these destinations amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, they are also resuming their fly-by-seat facilities and Mumbai-Pune helicopters will start plying on November 3. The helicopter taxis of BLADE drastically reduce the travel time between Mumbai and Pune. The helicopters will fly from Juhu and Mahalaxmi and the ride will be a mere 20 minutes (a 20 minute ride but 30 minutes extra for boarding etc) bringing down the travel time by at least 2-3 hours. BLADE India has implemented various safety measures to ensure safe travel amid the pandemic. All pilots, passengers, and BLADE employees will undergo touchless thermal screenings.
