Many UAE citizens are getting excited about their long-awaited summer vacation now that school breaks for the year are just around the horizon. 1. Schengen Visa Required For Europe 

Gulf News talked with travel brokers who said that You must complete the visa application procedure for Schengen nations well before the summer vacation period for UAE citizens. Travel to Europe is in great demand throughout the summer months. However, new Schengen visa applications are not accepting at this time, and you may only schedule appointments in August.

2. Visa on Arrival in Georgia 

The nations that don’t need Visa Requirements For UAE Residents are always a popular option. Expatriates from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are looking for low-cost, visa-on-arrival locations. Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia are among the nations mentioned.

The latest COVID-19 travel rules are: 

  • For Vaccinated Travellers: Visitors need to submit a paper proving that they have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccination. 
  • For non-vaccinated Travellers: Visitors need to submit a negative PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) test result, performed within 72 hours after arriving in Georgia. You must provide the exam results in either one of three languages: Georgian, English, or Russian. 

 

3. Azerbaijan 

UAE citizens get a visa on arrival in Azerbaijan. Citizens and residents of the UAE must meet the following COVID-19 conditions, according to the official Azerbaijan tourist website – Azerbaijan.travel:

For travellers above the age of 18, provide an official document issued by the appropriate country (COVID passport) upon completion of vaccination or recovery from COVID-19.

4. Indonesia 

East Asian countries are also popular among UAE citizens who may have already visited adjacent visa-free locations. Furthermore, COVID-19 travel restrictions for fully vaccinated tourists uplifted in countries such as Indonesia, with the famous resort island of Bali opening its borders to international travel in February 2022. 

As a result of the ease of applying for a visa online, countries like Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia have become popular destinations for tourists. 

Documents Required For Visa Application: 

You must submit the following papers to apply for an electronic visa to Indonesia:

  • Passport copy
  • airline tickets
  • hotel reservations 

Covid-19 Rules in Indonesia 

You must have had all COVID-19 vaccinations in order to go to Indonesia. Passengers who are partly or entirely unvaccinated must undergo PCR testing upon arrival and stay in quarantine for five days. 

 

5. Singapore 

Singapore, which requires a visa in a manner similar to that of Indonesia, is another COVID-19 destination that attracts UAE citizens. As a tourist, you would need a Passport copy, airline tickets, and hotel reservations paperwork to apply for an e-visa. It takes one to two days to complete the visa application. 

Covid-19 Rules 

Passengers must undergo a PCR test 48 hours before departure or provide a vaccination certificate at check-in proving they have had the complete COVID-19 vaccination. Visitors must complete a health declaration form on the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) of Singapore’s website, www.ica.gov.sg, three days before departure.
