It is not everyday that one gets to meet a revered spiritual leader, whose wisdom filled videos have saved and moulded many lives. Our Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani recently got the opportunity to meet known spiritual leader Sadhguru on our show, Curly Tales Sunday Brunch. She not only met him but also enjoyed a soulful and healthy breakfast with him. He introduced Kamiya Jani to two foods with miraculous health benefits, and we took notes.
Sadhguru Introduced Two Food items
This time on the show, the table had a spread of small bowls with some healthy food items, unlike the lavish brunch spread. This is how Sadhguru starts his day. The spread looked very intriguing, and our Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani asked Sadhguru to introduce the food items. She was holding a bowl with some green and yellow balls and asked him to explain them first. Sadhguru stated that the green balls were made from ground neem leaves, while the yellow balls were made from turmeric.
He said, “These two things can do a miracle in your life.” He further explained that you must swallow these two balls first thing in the morning and wait for 10-15 minutes for them to spread in your body. One must take them with a little tepid water on an empty stomach. They bring down the inflammatory levels in our stomach lining and clean up bacteria. It also brings a glow to your face.
Living On Groundnuts And Bananas For Months
He discussed each thing in detail while indicating the soaked groundnuts and explaining to us why they were significant. He asserted that groundnuts grown organically are rich in enzymes and protein, both of which are necessary. Sadhguru revealed that there was a point when he subsisted for months on nothing but groundnuts and bananas. He claims that one banana and a handful of groundnuts are all the food one needs for the entire day.
The two had a very interesting and fun chat on life, food, travel, and more. To know more, all you have to do is watch the recent episode on YouTube.
