Sania Mirza Is Living In Dubai For Quite A Long Time Now

Both Sania Mirza and her husband, Shoaib Malik are professional sportspeople and they had to travel a lot because of their respective careers. On asking why she chose to stay in Dubai, Sania shared, ‘With both us playing, we were travelling a lot. We did have a place here and we have been residents of Dubai for 12 years. Also, the last 4-5 years with being pregnant and COVID-19, I spent a lot of time here.’

It seems like Sania loves living in Dubai. She spoke about her love for living there and how she might feel difficult to live anywhere else after staying in Dubai. She shared, ‘Dubai is a place like that. It just kind of gravitates you towards itself and there is the best of both worlds. It has got everything like luxury. And it has got the best of East of West which is very important to us. More than anything, it is multicultural and that for us is very important.’

Sania travels between India and Dubai every 3 weeks because she works from India quite a lot so she doesn’t really miss anything about India in Dubai. She also shared, ‘A good part about Dubai is that you don’t really miss India so much. There are many many people from India here and from the subcontinent. Also, you can still have the same kind of lifestyle that you have in India.’ She also spoke on how Indians do not really miss India as much because it has got everything that India has.
