Singapore is known as one of the greenest cities in the world, and the Asian country is all set to take greenery to the next level by launching an all-new eco-smart city. Known as a forest town, Singapore will get a nature’s haven, and here’s everything you must know about it.

Forest Town Will Have 42,000 Homes And Will Aim For Sustainable And Clean Living 

Forest town, as the name suggests, it aims to improve the health and well-being of residents. It is going to be a car-free city, and the construction is already in full forcer in Tengah, in the West Region. The Forest town will have five residential districts with 42,000 homes to reduce carbon emission. After renovation and development, the forest town will be an example of good and clean living.

The Eco-Smart City Will Have No Cars And Will Have Safe Zones for Pedestrians

The smart city will also have safe zones for pedestrians and cycling enthusiast. The forest town will be free from traffic and will be great for the well-being of the citizens while keeping the sustainability factory in mind.

The forest town’s five districts will include- Park, Garden, Forest Hill, Plantation, and Brickland. Even though the city is car-free, residents from here can travel in buses to go into town.
