Bangalore’s favourite cafe and bar chain, SOCIAL Has launched Local Heroes, an initiative to support the local chefs in the city. Home chef Kalyan Gopalakrishna is kickstarting the initiative this month with SOCIAL’s City Chef Saurabh Arora.Feast on an exclusive hyper-local menu curated by the two whizz chefs. This initiative will support the local hero chefs of Bangalore and give foodies a chance to tantalise their palates.

Since the pandemic has been hard on the F&B industry, SOCIAL decided to create opportunities for meaningful collaborations with local culinary experts and help both industries benefit from each other. A percentage of the proceeds from the collaboration will also be shared with the local hero chefs. From this month onwards, foodies can experiment with the first edition of Local Heroes. This is a purely non-vegetarian menu inspired by old Bangalore Naati Oota cuisine. The many features classic Naati style dishes like mutton ( sheep) and Nati Koli ( country chicken).

Gorge On Exclusive Menu Of Naati Style Cuisine & Refreshing Cocktails
SOCIAL’s Local Heroes in collaboration with Karnivore Kitchen serves dishes like Bannur Mutton Chops, Karnivore Chilly Chicken and Bannur Mutton Pulao to name a few. Pair the Naati style dishes with special cocktails like Aam Yourself, a mango-infused vodka drink; Gin Fizz- SOCIAL’s take on homemade Panaka and Whiskey Tart, made with egg white foam. Take a trip down Old Bangalore. You can choose to make a reservation and dine-in or order food directly from the resto-bar worth a minimum of ₹1049.
