Storm Hits Turkey’s Ankara; Along With Gusty Winds People Spotted A Couch Flying In The Air

Ankara, Turkey, witnessed a heavy and violent storm recently. The winds in Ankara reach a speed of 45 kilometres per hour, causing a lot of damage across the entire city. The windows and roofs were blown off in the air, and the trees were also uprooted. But what was very astonishing was that people spotted a couch flying in the air. This shocking scene was recorded, and the video went viral. 

People Spotted A Flying Couch In Turkey

A video straight from Turkey’s storm scenes has gone viral and has caught people’s attention across the globe. The storm in Ankara actually made a couch fly in the air. Yes, you read that right! 

An outside sofa was launched through the air, as it was lifted off a high-rise building as the winds roared over the city. The gusty wind sent the sofa smashing into a house below after launching it from the building. 

People were astonished by the view and recorded it from their houses. The sofa looked like it was flying in slow motion until it smashed into the house nearby with tremendous force. Fortunately, no one was injured during this.

Minaret Of A Mosque Destroyed

The powerful storm had already created a lot of chaos with the gusty winds blowing all around the city. When you look at the video, you will see an object flying in the air, and then it starts twirling and rotating in the air. People then identified this flying object as a sofa. 

People were completely in shock looking at the video, and while some thought about the bad situation in Turkey, many others injected humour into the situation. One of the netizens commented that this actually reminded him of Aladdin and his magic carpet. 

When talking about the destruction caused by the storm, it includes destroying the minaret of a mosque. It also ripped off the roof of a shopping centre in the Turkish capital.
