This Is Where Uorfi Javed Tried Daulat Ki Chaat And It Was Not In Chandni Chowk

Uorfi Javed joined our anchor, Arohi Thatte, for this episode of Tere Gully Mein to explore the fashion and food stalls of Vile Parle, Mumbai. We are aware she is experimental with her fashion sense but we also discovered that she experiments with her food items. Even though she doesn’t like street food, she gorged on it and seemed to like it. We learned that she ate Daulat Ki Chaat at Indian Accent and not from the lanes in Chandni Chowk. Our next stop for exploration was Chat Bhandar and Juice Center in Vile Parle West. there were a couple of different flavours of ice gola and while we were discussing what to order, she again emphasised that she doesn’t really try street food. She told us beforehand that she likes to have home-cooked food. She added that she ate Daulat Ki Chaat at Indian Accent with a great ambience and not from Chandni Chowk. Uorfi Javed said, “It is just not for me.”

Just as she took the lead and ordered food items, she did the same at Chat Bhandar and Juice Center. We were happy with whatever she ordered. She asked the vendor about the flavours of ice gola and then went to look at the menu provided. Out of all the options she read out, Chocolate gola stood out to her. She asked Arohi if this flavour was ever eaten by her and in response, Arohi nodded her head no.

Uorfi Javed urged Arohi to try Chocolate gola and she agreed. Uorfi orderd for one Chocolate gola and one kala khatta gola. After ordering, Arohi explained what Chocolate gola is actually and it is a normal gola topped off with dollops of malai and then chocolate. Uorfi replied, “Oh I have never tried this. Okay, haan chalega bhai.” After all, we are with the queen of experimentation, we ought to try some hatke stuff, right? So, she tried chocolate malai gola for the first time with Curly Tales.
