Anandu revealed to Indiatimes, that losing one’s job isn’t necessarily the end of one’s dreams. It can instead give a person a different opportunity to grow. His life is a fine example of his words. Anandu and Shafi were classmates while pursuing B.Tech Electrical Engineering. The friends started working at tech companies but unfortunately lost their jobs before the lockdown. Shafi’s brother Shanavas also worked as an engineer before he lost his job. Instead of cribbing about their lost jobs, the friends decided to make the most of their situation, that’s when B.Tech Chai was born.

The three engineers are now working on developing B.Tech Chai as a brand. They want to have more franchises in other districts of Kerala as well. But Anandu revealed to Indiatimes that the journey hasn’t been easy. His father is angry with him for opening a chai stall instead of working in a firm. While his father still doesn’t talk to him, he hopes the success of the chai stall will change his mind. Well, we do hope that day isn’t far. Meanwhile, the next time you’re in Kerala do try out B.Tech Chai.
