A life-sized cake sculpture of Kate Middleton and Prince William has become a huge viral sensation at a major baking show held in the UK. Expert cake artist Emma Jayne created these edible statues out of cake, and the internet is stunned by her creativity. Here’s what the cakes are made of.

Life-sized cake statues of Prince William and Kate Middleton, complete with lifelike details, expressions and royal attire, turned heads at Cake and Bake International, a cake exhibition and competition held in Birmingham, UK. The organisers shared the photos on their Instagram handle and called the sculptures a tribute to the Prince and Princess of Wales.

The two life-sized edible statues were created by Emma Jayne, an expert cake artist. Aren’t you curious to know what these cakes are actually made of? According to Birmingham Now, the artist used a Rice Krispies and marshmallow base for the hands. For the figures, Emma used 50 kg of sugarpaste and edible rainbow dust. Every part of the models, including the headpieces, earrings and hairstyles, was crafted by hand!
