While the outer covering resembles a giant momo, once you cut it with a knife, the potli will unwrap to give way to spicy aromatic noodles inside. The slow cooking of the noodles in the chapati dough potli lets the sauces infuse and enhance the overall taste. The potli once cooked is totally edible and can be savoured with the noodles.

Savour Crispy Potli & Flavoursome Noodles In Potli Noodles

If you’re curious to know how Kuch Bhi Chalega prepares the Potli Noodles, here’s a  sneak peek. Firstly, dried red chillies and garlic pieces are doused in hot oil. Next, fresh crunchy vegetables like sliced onions, capsicum, mushroom, broccoli, cabbage are added into the mix and tossed well in the wok. The noodles are added and later dollops of red chilli sauce, soy sauce and other flavouring agents make it to the mix.

Finally, the vegetable noodles are garnished with big pieces of fried paneer. Once the noodles are ready, the chef proceeds to prepare the potli out of chapati atta. It’s rolled and then shaped into a potli or pouch. The noodles are placed in it and the potli is folded intricately. It’s layered with butter and the entire dish is placed in the oven for baking. After 10 to 15 minutes, Potli Noodles are ready to be served. You can cut open the covering to unravel the sumptuous vegetable noodles. Savour the cooked potli with the spicy noodles.
