US Passenger Train Now Offers Chicken Tandoori, Basmati Rice & Mini Naan In Its New Menu

US’s passenger railway Amtrak has upgraded its first-class menu on Acela trains. And guess what? Indian food lovers can now savour Chicken Tandoori, Basmati Rice & Mini Naan during their journey. According to a study, Indian food is the world’s happiest food that increases happiness by a whopping 83 % and we aren’t kidding. And that’s not it! Travelers can also feast on Lobster Crab Cakes and Eggs Benedict on their next train ride.

Passengers Can Also Enjoy Artisan Fruit & Cheese Plates

The new dining option comes complimentary for first-class passengers traveling on the Northeast Corridor. Apart from the Indian delicacies, passengers can also enjoy omelets and huevos rancheros for breakfast, and artisan fruit and cheese plates for lunch and dinner. They also have new offerings for beer and wine. Passengers can also customise meals by ordering a kosher or vegan meal in advance.

First-Class Travel With Amtrak Comes With A Lot Of Other Perks

However, beyond the food, traveling in first-class comes with a host of perks like personalised attendant service, reclining seats, complimentary Wi-Fi, and lounge access in New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C.
