OYO has recently released the Treasure Trove Cultural Report 2022. According to the report, Varanasi is the top spiritual site among Indian travellers. The report has also ranked spiritual sites in the country on the basis of zones. Varanasi has emerged as the top pilgrimage site in the East. Shirdi has emerged as the top pilgrimage site in the West. In North and South, the top pilgrimage sites have been found to be Amritsar and Tirupati respectively.

Srinagar Emerged As The Biggest Cultural Destination In J&K, With Bookings Increasing By 3.5 Times
As per the booking data of OYO between January and April 2022, India’s top 5 cultural destinations are as follows:
- Srinagar
- Pahalgam
- Bodhgaya
- Shirdi
- Jammu
The report also revealed that Srinagar has witnessed a hike in bookings by 3.5 times over the past year.
