- The excise laws of each state must be followed when transporting alcohol across state lines. Usually, there are restrictions on how much you are allowed to carry.
Surveillance And Seizure
- At checkpoints, surveillance teams are stationed to keep an eye on the flow of money, alcohol, drugs, and other goods. To retain the element of surprise, these checkpoints are regularly moved.
- Items you are carrying that are associated with a political candidate, agent, or party official could be seized. In the event that there is probable cause to suspect criminal activity, seizure will also take place.
