1. Some Schools Announce Distance Learning In Dubai On Monday
As the heavy rains continue in Dubai, some schools have now announced distance learning for Monday. Moreover, most of these institutions have also revealed that in-person learning will begin once again. This comes after heavy rains lashed the emirate on Sunday! As a result, there were widespread disruptions.

The truck ban timings have now been changed for the month of Ramadan in Abu Dhabi. Yes, this was announced by the Abu Dhabi police on its official X account (formerly Twitter). This restriction applies to trucks and buses transporting over 50 workers. So, the prohibition begins from 8 am to 10 am in the cities of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. And it’s also during the peak hours in the evening, from 2 pm to 4 pm.

The Dubai RTA recently revealed the operating hours for public transport in the emirate. Yes, it mentions the Dubai Water Taxi, Dubai Metro, Dubai Bus, and Dubai Ferry. Not to mention, the operational hours for service provider centres have also been revealed by the authority for the holy month of Ramadan.

4. Dubai Police Esports Tournament Dates Revealed

It was recently revealed by the Dubai Police, that the dates for the Dubai Police Esports Tournament in its Ramadan edition are now out. Yes, this will kick off on March 15 and go on till March 24. It’s worth mentioning that the tournament will be taking place at the prestigious Dubai Police Officers Club. As such, the valuable prizes are worth up to AED100,000.

5. Etihad Airways Boosts Flights Between Abu Dhabi & Rome

The national carrier has revealed that it is boosting its services between Abu Dhabi and Rome. This development will increase the number of flights from 11 weekly to twice a day. As it happens, this increase in flight services will begin from November 1, 2024 onwards and the aim is to cater to growing demands!
